Data Deletion Policy & Instructions

1. Your Right to Data Deletion

At Weservecodes Pvt Ltd, we respect your right to control your personal data. In compliance with applicable data protection laws — including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU), and Meta Platform Terms — you have the right to request the permanent deletion of your personal data from our systems.

This policy applies to:

  • Platform Users (Business Clients): Individuals or businesses who have registered an account on the Sendy Platform.
  • End-Users of Our Clients: Individuals whose phone numbers or contact information has been processed through our Platform by our business clients.
  • Meta/Facebook Users: Users who have connected their Meta account to our application and wish to have their data removed.

2. How to Request Data Deletion

You may request the deletion of your data through any of the following methods:

Method 1: Email Request (Recommended)

Send an email to sales@weservecodes.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include the following information:

  • Your full name (as registered on the Platform).
  • The email address associated with your account.
  • Your WhatsApp Business Account ID (WABA ID), if applicable.
  • Specific description of the data you want deleted (or request full account deletion).
  • Any additional identifying information to help us locate your records.

Method 2: In-Platform Account Deletion

Registered users can initiate account and data deletion directly from the Platform:

  • Log in to your Sendy Platform dashboard.
  • Navigate to Settings > Account.
  • Click “Delete My Account & Data”.
  • Confirm the deletion request. You will receive an email confirmation with a reference code to track the status of your request.

Method 3: Meta/Facebook Data Deletion Request

If you connected your Meta (Facebook) account to our application and wish to remove your data:

  • Go to your Facebook Settings > Apps and Websites.
  • Find the Sendy Platform app and click “Remove”.
  • Check the box to “Delete all posts, photos, and videos” if prompted.
  • Meta will send a data deletion callback to our servers, and we will automatically process the deletion of your associated data within 30 days.

Alternatively, you can contact us directly at sales@weservecodes.com referencing your Meta User ID, and we will process the deletion manually.

3. What Data Will Be Deleted

Upon processing your deletion request, we will permanently remove:

  • Your account profile information (name, email, credentials).
  • API keys and authentication tokens.
  • Message logs and delivery reports.
  • Wallet balance and transaction history (subject to legal retention requirements).
  • WhatsApp Business Account associations and Telegram Bot configurations.
  • Webhook configurations and automation rules.
  • Message templates and auto-responder configurations.
  • Any media files uploaded through the Platform.

4. Data We May Retain

Certain data may be retained even after a deletion request, but only as required by applicable law:

  • Financial Records: Billing invoices and payment transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with Indian tax and financial regulations (Income Tax Act, GST Act).
  • Legal Obligations: Data subject to an ongoing legal hold, investigation, or dispute resolution process will be retained until the matter is resolved.
  • Aggregated/Anonymized Data: Statistical data that has been fully anonymized and cannot be linked back to any individual may be retained for analytics purposes.

5. Processing Timeline

  • Acknowledgment: We will acknowledge receipt of your deletion request within 48 hours and provide a unique confirmation/tracking code.
  • Processing: Your data deletion will be completed within 30 calendar days from the date of acknowledgment.
  • Confirmation: You will receive a final email confirmation once your data has been permanently deleted from our active systems.
  • Backup Purge: Data in encrypted backup systems will be purged within 90 days of the deletion request as backup cycles rotate.

6. For End-Users of Our Business Clients

If you are an end-user (recipient of messages) and your phone number or data has been processed through our Platform by one of our business clients, please note:

  • Our business clients are the data controllers for your information. We act as a data processor on their behalf.
  • We recommend contacting the business that sent you messages directly to request data deletion.
  • If you are unable to identify or contact the business, you may email us at sales@weservecodes.com with your phone number, and we will assist in identifying the relevant client and processing your request.
  • To opt out of receiving further messages from a specific business, reply “STOP” to the WhatsApp or Telegram conversation.

7. Verification Process

To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized deletion requests, we may verify your identity before processing a deletion request. Verification methods may include:

  • Confirming the email address associated with your account.
  • Requesting additional identifying information (e.g., last 4 digits of registered phone number).
  • Sending a verification code to your registered email or phone number.
